Buffalo Bills Mafia
"Bills Mafia" The nickname for the fan base, has become associated with raucous tailgates and fans jumping through folding tables, but also for fans giving back. The name has helped bring a spotlight to a tight-knit community that goes above and beyond to connect with its football team. The Mafia Boat Parade aligns with just that; a celebration of the Bills 2026 season, a gathering a Bills fans, and giving back to Buffalo.
This is an all ages rain or shine event!!
Event History
The annual boat parade, in support of the Buffalo Bills season and local charities, is the first of its kind to take place in Buffalo. In the first two years the Mafia Boat Parade has raised thousands of dollars for Oishei Children's Hospital. The 2024 -2025 MBP raised funds for The Firefighter Arno Memorial.
The idea to host the parade along the Buffalo River was formulated by Ashleigh Dopp & Brandon Bova. The lead boat – Buffalo Cycle Boats – will follow a parade route (TBD) that will take revelers down the Buffalo River, starting at Canalside – meet up at TBD p.m. A fog horn will signal the start of the parade, as boats head south down the Buffalo River and turn around at the abandoned riverboat.
